SPF testing methods
SPF testing can be performed with one or several methods:
- In vivo (ISO 24444)
- Double plate (ISO 23675)
- HDRS (ISO 23698, mono- or polychromatic)
- Fused method
- LED-HDRS
- In silico
You will be asked to inform us after registration about which method(s) you intend to apply.

- Round 1: 06.10.2026 - 15.12.2026 (registration deadline: 30.09.2026)
In 2027
- Round 1: 16.02.2027 - 13.04.2027 (registration deadline: 26.01.2027)
- Round 2: 18.05.2027 - 13.07.2027 (registration deadline: 27.04.2027)
- Round 3: 17.08.2027 - 12.10.2027 (registration deadline: 27.07.2027)
Two modalities for participation
- Per-round-basis: 300€ per round
- Bundle (subscription): 700€ for participation in 4 rounds
All prices are exclusive of VAT. No VAT is charged by QD Labs LP; any tax liability lies with the recipient of the goods and services. Test items are dispatched from Germany. Shipping costs depend on the delivery address and are calculated automatically at checkout. For bundle orders, this fee is charged only once.
Advantages of booking a subscription for participation in 4 rounds

- In addition to the round-specific report, subscription members will receive a report with an evaluation across the 4 rounds
Testing institutes which participate regularly and successfully have the added option of being listed as reference institutes (along with the method used) on the QD Labs website.
Registration is binding. Participation cannot be cancelled once QD Labs LP has received the registration.
